Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu), our representatives from Motherland Hike Team will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel.
Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and preparation for the trek
Today, you will visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple, Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.
Day 03: Drive/Fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara
Duration will depend on the choice of private vehicle (approximately 7 hours with breaks) or by flight (30 minutes). Arrive Pokhara lakeside and transfer to hotel. Depending on arrival time, may be opportunity to explore surrounding areas. We will stay overnight at hotel.
Day 04: Trek from Pokhara to Bhumdi (1520m)
Well, today, we will drive to Thado Khola passing beautiful Davis Falls on the way. We then will trek to Bhumdi through lush forest teeming with interesting flora and fauna. Our trail starts us a long staircase to a ridge dropping own to Bhumdi. We will stay overnight in Bhumdi.
Day 05: Trek from Bhumdi to Panchse Bhanjyang (2030m)
If the weather is fair, we will have more opportunities to view the beautiful mountains along the trail. Our trek today will take us up through the forest and then on to Bhanjyang which is a small settlement at the foot of Panchase. We will stay overnight at Panchase Bhanjyang.
Day 06: Trek from Panchase Bhanjyang to Panchase Peak to Chitre (1400m)
Today we will hike to Panchase Hill summit at the altitude of 2500m and enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna Peaks and other mountains including Manaslu and Dhaulagiri. Then, we trek uphill steeply through the sparse forests and pastures to Chitre for our overnight stay.
Day 07: Trek from Chitre to Matathanti (1200m)
We will trek through the scattered villages to the Village of Matathanti and we will stay there overnight.
Day 08: Trek from Matathanti to Ghandruk (1940m)
We will have an easy walk today before an ascent to Ghandruk which is the largest Gurung village in the region. We will stay overnight at Ghandruk.
Day 09: Rest Day at Ghandruk
We will take rest at Ghandruk today and explore around the area to enjoy the scenic beauty. We will stay overnight at Ghandruk.
Day 10: Trek from Ghandruk to Pothana (1910m)
Today, we will start off downhill to Modi Khola, crossing on a suspension bridge. Our trail turns uphill to Landrung village where Machhapuchhre and Annapurna are visible from the trail. We walk uphill through the woodlands of Deurali and then gradually downhill to Pothana where will stay overnight.
Day 11: Trek from Pothana to Pokhara (820m)
Today, we will walk to Dhampus. Then, we trek along the ridge to Phedi passing rice terraces and villages on the way. We will finally reach Pokhara for our overnight stay.
Day 12: Pokhara city sightseeing
This day we visit the Pokhara valley. It is the beautiful city which is god gifted with the natural beauty. We visit Mahendra Cave, Davis Falls, Fewa Lake, world peace pagoda etc. Overnight, we will stay in guesthouse in Pokhara.
Day 13: Drive/Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Today, we will catch our early morning returning flight to Kathmandu. The flight takes about 35 minutes to reach Kathmandu. Or we can take a drive to Kathmandu which takes around 7-8 hours. At the remaining time, you can explore the Kathmandu city or you can go for shopping. In the evening, we will celebrate the farewell dinner with our trekking crew.
Day 14: Final Departure
You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We will transfer you to the airport for your returning flight.
