Ghale Gaun Trekking is one of the short treks in Annapurna region. Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu), our representatives from Motherland Hike Team will welcome you and transfer you to the hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing

Today, you will visit main places of Kathmandu valley. In the morning you visit Pashupatinath, Bauddhanath, and Swayambhunath. Pashupatinath is the oldest Hindu temple, Bauddhanath Stupa and Swayambhunath Stupa are the oldest Buddhist Stupas. After launch you visit Kathmandu durbar square and Patan durbar square. In Kathmandu durbar square, you visit Kumari temple, the temple of Living goddess.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Beshishahar to Khudi

Today, after breakfast, we drive to Khudi through Prithvi Highway and facing the view of Marshyangdi River. It will take around six hours to reach Khudi. We will stay overnight at camp.

Day 04: Trek from Khudi to Ghale Gaun

Today, after taking our breakfast, we will trek to Ghalegaun. Well, Ghalegaun is the name by the caste of Gurung people. We will be welcomed by the mother’s group of Ghalegaun. They will show you some local singing & dancing program. We will stay overnight at camp.

Day 05: Exploration Day at Ghale Gaun

Today, we will take our fully day for exploring the Ghale Gaun. We will be exploring around the village there.

Day 06: Trek from Ghale Gaun to Baglungpani

After Breakfast, we start our trek to Baglungpani which is a Gurung village. Here, we can enjoy fully with the local people with view of Baglungpani. We will stay overnight at camp.

Day 07: Trek from Baglungpani to Laxmi Bazaar

Trek starts after Breakfast made by our crew to Laxmi Bazar after walking 5 hrs. We will stay overnight at camp.

Day 08: Trek from Laxmi Bazaar to Pokhara

Today, we will trek to Pokhara from Laxmi Bazaar. After visiting Begnas Tal, we will drive to Pokhara for our overnight stay.

Day 09: Drive/Fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Today, we will catch our early morning returning flight to Kathmandu. The flight takes about 35 minutes to reach Kathmandu. Or we can take a drive to Kathmandu which takes around 7-8 hours. At the remaining time, you can explore the Kathmandu city or you can go for shopping. In the evening, we will celebrate the farewell dinner with our trekking crew.

Day 10: Final Departure

You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We will transfer you to the airport for your returning flight.
